Dear Band Parents and Students:
We hope you have had a great summer. We are excited about the upcoming school year. We look forward to seeing you again in the Evans Band room at schedule pick up on August 10th. We will issue lockers, collect band fees, have you update charms, and give you the opportunity to volunteer for our band activities.

Dear Evans Middle School 6th Grade Band Parent,
Welcome Back to our 7th and 8th grade musicians! We are excited to have such a great group of students returning. Please make sure to come by the band room on August 10th (schedule pick-up day) to get your locker assignments and to pay for your band uniform shirts, solo and ensemble entries, and all-region entry fees.
It's going to be an outstanding year. Here are a few reminders for our 6th grade students and parents.
6th grade students must have all instruments and supplies before the first day of school. Those of you who pre-ordered your instruments and supplies do not have to worry about them. They will be delivered to the school and we will let your child know we have them the first few days of school.
Please keep an eye on the charms music calendar. It is updated almost as soon as we receive information.
Please check www. charmsoffice.com to make sure your information is updated so we can send informational band e-mails to you. Our calendar, handouts, and other information are all posted on this website. Parent login is evansmsband. The student id is your child's school id#.

Parents will find this to be an incredibly useful resource this year to stay on top of band activities and information. This site is an administrative tool used by the band directors to manage student enrollment information. It is a separate site from the Band web site you are currently reading!
Food Handler's Certification Class
• Location: Boyd Cafeteria
• When: 8-18-2010
• 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM Arrive 15 minutes early to register
• This certification is good for 2 years. ALL volunteers must take this class in order to handle food items that require handling and/or cooking.
• Volunteers who do not complete this course are limited to handling prepackaged items only.
